SOLAR ENERGY
California state laws have a general prohibition against the restriction or prohibition of the use of a solar energy system. The implementation of this law affects Community Associations and especially the common area within an Association. Factors such as roof size, percentage of owners, solar site surveys, additional insurance requirements, and structural integrity of roofs and buildings all contribute to legal compliance with the state and federal laws. We work with Associations to comply with regulations and proactively develop a solar energy policy to protect against future solar energy system issues.
